Pre-gluing your wefts can speed up the quick weave install process.
without rushing or cutting corners.
Just working smarter.
Most people think quick weaves take forever because they glue as they go.
That’s the mistake.
I pre-glue in batches so the adhesive gets tacky, placement stays clean,
and I’m not stopping every 2 minutes to reapply glue.
This is how you control time —
before the hair even touches the cap.
This is one of those details that I am teaching in my upcoming free online course on 2/9/26 @8pm EST.
Once you learn these techniques, your income will increase too.

Cutting this 4x4 lace closure in half feels illegal but I have to make the scalp look real.
If you need me to walk you through creating a professional quick weave, I do offer one-on-one private sessions, just DM me to get started.

Can a Quick Weave Stocking Cap Cut Off Circulation and Cause Hairline Baldness? Can a Quick Weave Stocking Cap Cut Off Circulation and Cause Hairline Baldness? Short answer:No — a quick weave stocking cap does not cut off blood circulation to the scalp or hair follicles. Stocking caps are made of stretchable nylon, not compression material. However, a quick weave can contribute to hairline thinning or breakage if it’s installed, worn, or removed...0 Comments 0 Shares 182 Views 0 Reviews

This style takes me back to 2012.
I was living in Richmond, Virginia, and I had just decided I was going to start doing hair, for real.
I bought every hair DVD I could get my hands on (because that’s what learning looked like back then), and I enrolled in cosmetology school
. I didn’t finish the full program… but here’s what I did learn early:
Cosmetology school doesn’t teach you how to actually be a stylist.
It teaches theory. The skill comes from obsession, practice, and intention.
Even back then, I was focused on one thing:
Making weaves look natural — not like a helmet.
Life happened. I didn’t follow the exact path I planned.
But I never stopped knowing how to do the work.
That’s why today, when I talk about professional quick weaves, I’m not guessing.
I’ve been building, cutting, and shaping them for years — before reels, before courses, before “hair content.”
If you want to learn how to professionally construct, cut, and style a quick weave,
that’s what I teach inside my community.

Let’s create an instant quick weave bob with bangs in under 30 seconds 💇🏽♀️✨
First, I measure the head to make sure the bangs are in the perfect spot. No guessing needed.
Then I apply the tracks up the back to build that clean bob shape.
Next, I layer using a feather razor for movement and softness.
Before I add texture to the bangs, I always check the length carefully. That’s the secret.
Finally, I installed the quick weave and styled the bangs to finish the look.
And just like that… look at those layers 😍

Watch as I curl and style this bold-colored pixie cut, taking inspiration from a photo and turning it into a finished look. Short hairstyles can be exciting.
With the right pixie cut, curl pattern, layers, bangs, color, and texture, short hair can look soft, edgy, and voluminous.
First, I use my curl pattern guide to direct the curls forward.
For the fringe, I take small sections, pull them forward, and curl off the base to keep the curl soft rather than tight.
On the top and crown, I curl in the same direction so the curls stack, add lift, and create that choppy pixie movement.
After the hair cools, I comb and shape it using my comb-out guide to achieve a red pixie style with dimension, shape, and shine.
This technique works well for red hair, blonde pixies, brown pixies with highlights, fun-colored pixie cuts, older women, fine hair, black women with pixie cuts, and anyone who loves bold color and strong, short hairstyles.
Save this for your next pixie cut idea. If you want to learn this curl pattern step by step, you can buy the full curl pattern diagram here.
